One-Line Verdict
“The freshness and dazzling chemistry that emerge when two individuals from different backgrounds meet evoke a sense of excitement in those who watch.”
Overview
Ha-yeon, who longs to escape her strained relationships with friends and family—as well as a reality in which she feels alienated—and finally become the protagonist of her own life, happens to meet Jo Yu-gyeom (played by Jinyoung) in Upo-ri.
Yu-gyeom is the eldest grandson of a traditional head family and the son of a wealthy landowner, living a dull, monotonous existence bound by strict, old-fashioned rules and the heavy expectations of his lineage.
As the two experience an extraordinary summer in Upo-ri, they break free from the constraints that once held them back, becoming a source of salvation—and perhaps even destiny—for one another in this youthful romance.
