One-Line Verdict
“A noir film perfect for passing the time, featuring So Ji-sub’s gritty hard-boiled action and a star-studded cast.”
Overview
Gijun confronts a web of conspiracies and power struggles between massive organizations—as well as internal traitors—surrounding the death of his brother, Giseok.
The story depicts his desperate battle to uncover the truth and expose the real power brokers behind the events, all while ruthlessly eliminating enemies with his cold demeanor and overwhelming combat prowess.
Nam Gijun, once a formidable figure in the criminal underworld, severed his own Achilles tendon following a mysterious incident and walked away from that dark life.
However, after his younger brother Nam Giseok—the organization’s second-in-command and an executive—meets a tragic end, Gijun returns to the fray after eleven years to hunt down the truth.
