One-Line Verdict
“The beginning of a clumsy romance between Park Min-jae, a PhD student who acts pathetically when it comes to love, and Im Yu-jin, who is adrift regarding her career path.”
Overview
Min-jae is a robotics PhD student who was a competitive swimmer in high school but lost a leg to illness. While he quietly immerses himself in his research, appearing outwardly composed, his bucket list holds one simple yet deeply felt wish: to date someone.
Then, a special someone appears in the life of Min-jae—a man who overthinks things and fears getting hurt.
Yu-jin, who had been drifting after leaving the Department of Clothing and Textiles, discovers the unfamiliar world of robotics and a new dream through Min-jae. Though everything feels awkward and challenging, she never hesitates when it comes to her feelings for him.
The excitement sparked at first sight shakes up the quiet routine of the robotics lab, and Yu-jin’s bold, straightforward approach begins to break down the walls Min-jae has built around his heart.
As the two grow closer, a romance unfolds—one that is more complex and unpredictable than any robot, blending spicy, bitter, and sweet moments.
