One-Line Verdict
“A quirky and delightful coming-of-age comedy-drama set in a neighborhood, featuring "loser heroes" and the nostalgic vibe of 1999 (Y2K).”
Overview
Eun Chae-ni (Park Eun-bin)—who nearly died after staging her own kidnapping in Haeseong City—and several locals miraculously survive an incident involving chemical waste, gaining superpowers such as teleportation, adhesion, and superhuman strength.
Meanwhile, Lee Un-jeong (Cha Eun-woo), a civil servant at the Haeseong City Hall complaints office, discovers he possesses telekinetic abilities—accompanied by the side effect of frequent nosebleeds—and becomes entangled with the group.
Together, this trio of well-meaning but clumsy super-powered individuals and Un-jeong struggle to solve the case while standing up against the schemes and threats of Ha Won-do (Son Hyun-joo), the villainous mastermind behind the “Wunderkind Project.”
