One-Line Verdict
“A goblin who needs a human bride to end his immortal life, and a girl—destined to have died—who claims to be the 'goblin's bride'.”
Overview
A 939-year-old guardian of souls—who lives alongside a Grim Reaper—seeks a bride to break his curse of immortality.
Kim Shin, a hero from the Goryeo Dynasty who met his end as a traitor, has become an immortal *dokkaebi* (goblin) with a sword pierced through his chest.
Legend has it that only the “Dokkaebi’s bride” can pull the sword from his chest, thereby ending his grim yet brilliant immortality.
Centuries later, in modern-day Seoul, the *dokkaebi* begins living with a Grim Reaper who has lost his memory. By chance, he encounters a high school student named Ji Eun-tak, who claims to be the “Dokkaebi’s bride.”
