One-Line Verdict
“A healing story about a psychiatric ward caregiver and an antisocial children's book author who soothe each other's wounds and become a real family.”
Overview
Moon Gang-tae is a psychiatric ward caretaker living a bleak reality devoid of money or hope; he views love as a luxury he cannot afford and rejects it, dedicating his life instead to caring for his older brother, Moon Sang-tae (Oh Jung-se), who has autism spectrum disorder.
Ko Moon-young (Seo Yea-ji) is a popular children’s book author who, due to an innate condition resulting in antisocial personality traits, is incapable of feeling emotions or understanding love.
One day, Moon-young unexpectedly appears like destiny before Gang-tae, a man who has shut himself off from love. This healing romance depicts the story of two polar opposites who meet, confront each other’s deep wounds and traumas, and ultimately discover true love and personal growth as they heal together.
