One-Line Verdict
“While sharing the worldview of the original *Parasyte*, it unfolds an original story featuring new characters set in Korea.”
Overview
One day, mysterious spores fall to Earth, bringing with them parasitic organisms that seize control of human brains and take over their hosts’ bodies.
As these parasites violently hijack human hosts and gain power, humanity must rise up to confront the escalating threat.
While dying from a random, unprovoked assault, Jeong Su-in (Jeon So-nee) enters into a strange symbiotic relationship with “Heidi”—a parasite that, having entered through her arm, took over only the right side of her face and a portion of her body instead of fully seizing her brain.
